Over the past several weeks I have been on an exploration to deepen my style using wet media, in particular, gouache, acrylic gouache, and acrylic. As with every artist I continue to learn more with each piece I create but this exploration has been fulfilling and has taught me a lot.

I’ve learned that gouache is probably my favorite, I love that I can thin it out to create lovely soft florals or have the buttery consistency for the full, colorful flowers that I love to paint.
I’ve also learned that I am leaning towards soft-body acrylics rather than the full-body textural acrylics that pop out of the page. Well maybe I still need to spend more time on this to make a final decision but I am enjoying the exploration and I am happy with some of the art.
I’ve updated my placement art portfolio with some of the art I created over the last several weeks and I am so excited to share it below.
As always, contact me with any questions and if you are interested in licensing any of these pieces.
In the meantime, I will be adding my favorites over in the shop as art prints for those of you who would like to have them to decorate your home or as a lovely gift for someone who may enjoy it.
