This past week I’ve been painting lots of gouache landscapes and seascapes. I remember several years ago I was painting some small landscapes in watercolor and wanting to practice some more but with work, and life, I took a break it. I am so glad that I am painting landscapes again. Some of my landscapes art is inspired by my own experiences. Like the ones I shared a few weeks ago, from Puerto Rico and Galveston. I also gather reference pictures from Unsplash, where other artists share their beautiful photos and are royalty-free. I’ve shared some images myself, you can check them out in my profile. In my painting style, I significantly simplify what I see and select a few key focus elements to paint. While I explore composition, value, and perspective, I feel that with every painting I learn even more!
Below are two of my more recent paintings: Serenity and Adrift.

Both of these gouache landscapes paintings are available in the shop. You can also purchase art prints of these paintings. Let me know if you need a different size.
