This week, I am super excited to share one of my latest collections: Tropical Jungle and Big Cats. I am excited to share this collection in five color backgrounds, perfect for nurseries, offices, reading nooks, sophisticated organic interiors, and so much more.
I had fun working on this collection digitally. Most of my collections are in traditional analog watercolor and gouache, but recently I’ve been wanting to create more in the digital world. This jungle-themed collection was the perfect way to get me back into finding and exploring new brushes in Affinity and playing with textures and subtle color variations.
There is something deeply compelling about the jungle, its layered canopy, its unhurried power, the way a tiger moves through dappled light as though the forest belongs entirely to it. That feeling is at the heart of the Tropical Jungle & Big Cats mini collection: three coordinating prints; 1) a bold tiger-and-monstera statement pattern, 2) a tonal leopard-spot botanical companion, and 3) a lush textural jungle foliage design — all rooted in the same hand-drawn, nature-forward energy that defines Jasmine Goodwin Designs. Available across five colorways, neutral cream, sage green, earthy yellow, chocolate brown, and charcoal green, the collection speaks in as many interior dialects as there are rooms to dress. The cream and sage grounds feel fresh and editorial; the chocolate and charcoal lean into the maximalist-meets-moody aesthetic that has dominated interior design forecasts; the earthy yellow adds an unexpected warmth that nods to the global artisan trend sweeping home décor right now.
In terms of application, this collection was designed with range in mind. As drapery fabric, the tiger print commands a room — pair it with the leopard-spot companion on throw pillows and the jungle texture as a coordinating upholstery for a fully designed, layered space. For wallpaper and bedding, the tonal botanical companion pattern offers a quieter entry point into the jungle trend without sacrificing depth or character. The collection also translates beautifully to table linens, tote bags, stationery, and gift wrap — making it as at home in a boutique lifestyle brand as it is in a curated living room.
