Last week, Affinity released an update with a new Convert to Curves feature, and I am super excited because it has made my process more efficient.
In this video, I show you various methods for creating backgrounds for watercolor artwork, to use both as stickers and in surface design patterns. I show you the methods that I was using before the latest version release of Affinity V3. With the latest update to Affinity V3 new feature called Convert to Curves, I can simply select the watercolor artwork and click Convert to Curves under the Vector tab, and create a vector background in seconds. This method is so much more efficient and perfect for using with your pixel-based art.
I hope you take a look and hopefully learn something new!
