This lovely loose watercolor mini collection started as a watercolor art print. I have been painting with gouache mostly over the past few months but wanted to have a more loose session and continue to practice my watercolor painting. After scanning it I decided to take it and play in Photoshop to make a pattern. I was so happy with how it turned out that I decided to play with colors and add a few more patterns to make a lovely watercolor mini collection.
In the color exploration, I was able to create a few colorways that are perfect for the various seasons. For some reason, I am in love with the fall colors but the patterns are also lovely in the brighter spring colors as well.
After the first floral pattern in the Fall colors mini collection, I decided to paint some simple lavender and flower buds and lovely pumpkins. These rounded out the Fall colors below.
