I know I posted a mixed media update just a few weeks ago, but I’ve been so enthralled and I refuse to stop making mixed media art. I ended up working on a lovely mixed-media portrait for one of my sisters. I am looking forward to sharing the piece with her next week. Today, I am excited to share a few more pieces I worked on last week. These are some fun fruits and flowers. I plan to continue to work on similar designs and make a calendar for 2026. It seems like a large goal to create 12 unique designs in addition to my gouache landscapes and patterns, but I feel good about it. Since it is only the summer, I think there is enough time. I am excited to look for ideas that complement each month.
These designs are great for home decor and for stationery products.

The artwork I’ve been creating these past few weeks in this mixed media method has been some of the most meaningful artwork to me. I’ve been using some of my old sheet music from when I was playing saxophone in high school. Wow, the memories! Some of the sheet music is also very meaningful to me, since these are old, traditional songs that I remember fondly. These just give so much more meaning to the artwork, and I am so excited to share.
These designs are available for licensing. Contact me if you are interested in commissioning art specific to your needs.
