The past week or so, I have been testing the new brushes in Procreate 5.4 Beta. I created two mini collections with some of my favorite brushes from the new gouache and watercolor brush sets. I like the new brushes very much, there is so much to explore, so many textures and lovely basics that really go beyond. I am excited about the formal release that just happened, and looking forward to further exploring more of the new brushes.
Since watercolor and gouache are my favorite mediums to work with, I tied those brushes first. The first collection below is a Vintage Floral-inspired collection. For this mini collection, I used the new “Loyetea” gouache brush, which is full of lovely texture and a delight to use. I ended up creating all the patterns in Procreate, since it’s been a while since I created a pattern in Procreate.

This second collection is a digital watercolor mini collection I created using the “Gagebrook” watercolor brush while testing the new watercolor brushes. Yet another great brush. I cannot say enough how lovely all of these new brushes are. This is the Swan Lake Digital Watercolor mini collection.

Both mini collections are available in multiple colorways and are also available for licensing. If you are interested, contact me. I would love to collaborate!
